Default Amal Murkus - Ya Oud [*]

I'm looking for the words to this haunting song, which I believe is in Arabic. (Yes, I'll need to get it translated, too, but that may be another forum.)

Hello! I have moved your thread here! No luck for me in finding the lyrics. I leave here a link to youtube and hopefully somebody will listen to the song, write down the lyrics and translates it!

Post The arabic and English lyrics

I know this might be too late but i listened to the song from you tube wrote the lyrics and did my best to translate them, i wasn't sure i heard her correctly at times, so this lyrics are correct to the best of my knowledge

O! oud O thee traveling companion O! oud
    We cry on the velvet
You ache and go to the world’s end and come back and write and demolish the borders
    O! oud
    Trarrarrarar
Tell me about the nightings in palaces filled with marbala !!!faithful!!! (Not sure of the word) and the cups shine (probably meant as cups filled with wine) on the waists that bend and silk that flies (both resembling dancing) , confused and sleepless and your sound drops !!!!! and your voice drops ornaments !!!that are different!! And !! black Gladiolus!!

O! oud O thee traveling companion O! oud
    Trarrarrarar
    We cry on the velvet
You ache and go to the world’s end and come back and write and demolish the borders

    A girl from tomorrow --
Thank you so much! Your translation matches my perception of the artist and her intent. I wanted to choreograph the song but wanted to be sure my visual interpretation expressed the artist's ideas. Realizing how complicated it must be to translate Arabic, I deeply appreciate your help. Thank you for giving a voice to my steps and movement.
