We stumbled through the weeds right into the wildflowers,
She bent to pick one up.
She smiled and twirled it in her hand,
But then the wind came.
The wildflower was taken from her grasp,
Off into the unknown.
She belongs among the wildflowers,
Sheltered in their many colors.
Not a worry in her mind,
And plenty of room to holler.
Swaying in the gentle breeze,
Time moving slowly.
The tallest of them all,
A flower she is bodly.
To see her smile I would give anything,
to hear that beautiful laugh.
To see her hair dancing around her,
as she runs through the fields.
Like a wildflower, so free,
Untouched by harsh hands.
She belongs among the wildflowers,
Sheltered in their many colors.
Not a worry in her mind,
And plenty of room to holler.
Swaying in the gentle breeze,
Time moving slowly.
The tallest of them all,
A flower she is bodly.
As she leaves in the morning,
I know that she must go.
She packs her things
and not a word is spoken.
She doesnt turn to look as she skips off,
finally headed home.
She belongs among the wildflowers,
Sheltered in their many colors.
Not a worry in her mind,
And plenty of room to holler.
Swaying in the gentle breeze,
Time moving slowly.
The tallest of them all,
A flower she is bodly.
