Kansas, yeah. I forget how great they were, and especially Carry On Wayward Son.
But Lynyrd Skynyrd is never far from my memories. And that video brought on a pleasant bit of nostalgia. Cheers and a toast for that one.

If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
When the levee breaks, I'll have no place to stay
Mean ol' levee, taught me to weep and moan
Mean ol' levee, taught me to weep and moan
Its got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home
Oh well, oh well, oh well
Don't it make you feel bad
When you're tryin' to find your way home,
You don't know which way to go?
If you're goin' down south they got no work to do
If you don't know about Chicago
Cryin' won't help ya, prayin' won't do ya no good
Now, cryin' won't help ya, prayin' won't do ya no good
When the levee breaks, Mama you got to move
All last night, sat on the levee and moaned
All last night, sat on the levee and moaned
Thinkin' 'bout my baby and my happy home
Oh oh
Goin'
I'm goin' to Chicago
I'm goin' to Chicago
Sorry but I can't take you
Goin' down
Goin' down now
Goin' down
Goin' down now
Goin' down

Yessss Motörhead!! One thing that i love about Lemmy is that unlike a lot of other musicians, I can hear his British accent even when he's singing
from their newest album and it may be one of their best ever....

I've watched some of his interviews and he actually seems a funny guy.
I've been in the same position too many times...

Venus... I listened to it yesterday and it's still rollin' through my mind. Very nice selection homie.
This gets my vote for the most attention-getting album cover on this page...
Ok, going WAY back (again) to resurrect this group from the cobwebs...
I've actually seen these guys live, coz for most of their adult lives (including the present) they've played local clubs all over the Southeast. I can't remember where (or even when) I saw them perform, but it was probably one of the beach club-shacks here in NC.
This song made it to #17 on the Billboard charts in 1966, and it also charted in Canada:

Thanks to Richie Sambora and his brilliant orchestration, this classic song became a power ballad back on 1987.
