    Default What is this song?

I'm so desperate to find out the artist and song for this video. The only problem is its off a porn site and I am sure the admins will remove it straight away but can't see what else I can do...

Its after 2:05 and feel free to cover your screens.

Of course I had to fix the link first. (word filter here so guess the right word)

Ok I was going to convert this for you, but it's another one of those painful sites, that preoccupies / swamps slow browsers like mine. I stopped when it wouldn't let me fast forward to 2:05, so it's going to be down to you or someone else obliging.

Yes, they are very worried about the temporary file saved in the machine and I noted, being a painful site they were expeditious to delete the portion of file that had loaded while I waited for the browser to respond after I quit the site.

However the file is saved as a temporary file in the browser's cache and not directed towards the temp directory in xp, so I'm guessing that should also translate to easy copying as well in other operating systems. This is also good because you can copy it while it's loading, if your machine can respond quickly. Don't wait for the end to copy it, I'm guessing the site will also execute the delete command once the file has finished loading / playing.

The file is probably a .flv file so rename it as such and then convert the flv to mp3. Upload the mp3 to a file sharing site like zshare.net or another that doesn't go to too much trouble to track actual IPs

I took pity on you and went back.

Too bad, as the site decides randomly into the vid that it's finished loading.

Bad unstable site. I know I certainly don't have the bandwidth to keep on loading it until it reaches the song 2/3 the way through, let alone hear enough of the song.

The file is a mp4 file btw.

Might work in Firefox nonetheless, try about:cache?device=disk and look for big 'uns
Usually does the trick for me, as it contains the real links. (Also works with Flash programs/games btw, if the flash ads slow down both your whole browser and CPU to a crawl you may get the direct link there WITHOUT wasting your time in reading pagefuls of HTML source code)

That's a good tip, though I'm already aware of it, along with about:cache?device=memory , I hadn't tried it in this type of instance. (I have no reason to visit these "precious" type sites with their hidden scripts.) However I rarely resort to trawling the about:cache? pages as it's often a very long list and not exactly listed in a chronological order.

It's possible the amount of other media, does burden and slow my machine, but my guess is still a script which is running in the background as the "sluggishness" is almost instant and uniform once I've clicked play, even if the page has been sitting there waiting, fully loaded (bar the video of course) for a number of minutes. To change tabs "quickly" I have to click the wanted tab, move to another running program and back again and that's enough to fool the "script" or whatever it is. As I have an old version of firefox, it's possible this sort of script vulnerability was fixed in later versions.

Anyhow as I know the file is a mp4, I searched the resulting cache?=device page and ... thank you pianoman74, I dropped the link in Opera and presto one single 12M flawless download.

I converted to mp3. File below is 96kb/s, 192 kb/s sounded not that much better so I went with the 96.

I hear a couple of bars of one song at 2:05 but it quickly shifts to a different song I believe.

Thanks for letting me know. Hmm zshare removed it, well it's not like I've listened all the way through but still ....

The mp4 link of course works if you really need to watch. The first link is broken by the word filter.

    Lets try zippy.

Hey Invictus!! LOL I think we should start renaming this forum to "The Exile of Deserted Watzatsongians" (according to "The Isle of Deserted Pop Stars", a well-known blog)
