Again I paint over the letters
with the whirling colors of your love
cuz the brightness
of these unanchored words
keeps getting swallowed
by the black hole in your heart

I drink in filling
the emptiness of the healthy cells
I heal in the lacerations
of the lazy teeth of the lazy dawn

The wicked lips pray for me
to pretend loving in vain
But you’ve drunken my water of felony
to make an amber of your flame
