Is there a SINGLE word in Greek (not a "compound") for "bouzouki-player"?
Like "guitarist" (non-compound) in English = "guitar-player" (compound) = "one who plays the guitar".

The single word for "bouzouki player" is: Μπουζουκτζής / Bouzouktzis
Αν υπάρχει κάτι που δεν χρειάζεται την πλειοψηφία για να είναι σωστό, αυτό είναι η ανθρώπινη συνείδηση.
Thanks, Duffy.
Next question:
How do you say "bar-tab" in Greek? Is it not "μπαρ-καρτέλα"? (In English, "bar-tab" means the record of the drinks you will be charged for at the bar.)
We have no bars like US's and we do not drink every Friday until we get stoned, so there is no similar term for the drink. But in any case when this is done, then we say: (Σερί = "streak" / "break" / "run", as in billiard).

thereby providing another reason to agree with Amethystos that you have never been a member of the diplomatic corps!!!
But just to make sure I understand you, the word Σερί means the record of the charges that you have accumulated, correct?
