Iranian novels

I want to read about the Iranian society in a literati format , so I was wondering if someone can help me with some Iranian novels suggestions ; that are popular or won prizes on national or international scale & can be found in English translation ..

it's really hard to find such a book translated in english,there's a writer who write the romantic comedy novels his name is M.Moadabpour and usually the different parts of society are included in his books,but these are just novels from a person in society it's not the search or something based on science
so if i were in ur place i would prefer to talk to different iranian people in different level of society and judge by myself

I am not a specialist , I am just an ordinary curios reader ; interested in reading about different cultures , not only Iran , so I am not looking for a very deep literature .
The only English Iranian writtings I managed to reach here - (I am Arabic)- is by Azar Nafisi , she is well criticized in the west , but I have no idea how she is delivered inside Iran , from my experience about what can be written about us , I am not so sure if hers is an honest reflection or not .
