Lyrics legalities can I use a company name in a song?

New to writing lyrics. Is it legal to use the name of a company in the lyrics of a song, say, Coca-cola or Facebook?

No, you have to get written permission from the Company you want to use their trade-name.
Reason: because your lyrics could contain material, which might be detrimental to the company's image. Even though you might think it is not so.
