Let me burn, I want to feel the hurt
Let me bleed, the only way I learn
Let me go and face reality
Let me free and ‘scape the third degree
Once upon a time, a phony fairy tale was told to me
Allowing me to comprehend a pseudonym reality
Undaunted by the real world, I emerged without a clue
Until my eyes awakened by my first sighting of you
Freeing my sheltered mind from its narcissistic cognizant
Forsaking all I’d thought I’d known, equipping my armament
Awakening the inner beast lurking within my remains
Overtaken by this beast, I’m thrust forward into hell’s flames
Licking at my skin, those around laughing at my arrival
Laughing at the new recruit’s diminishing survival
Deep within, my strength is drawing, folding, growing without end
Reaching out I take what’s mine, what happens next I can’t portend
Destroying all inside my path
All victims of my savage wrath
Once it’s released, it stays on course
Unstoppable by any force
Suddenly, I am struck still, and I am frozen where I stand
My seemingly endless rampage cut short by another hand
And I fall flat against the ground, hardened by the flames around
Not a sound is said, for there is only one remaining crowned
Victorious in my death, I am released from my anguish
Imprisoned no more inside myself, I rest, I am vanquished
