Chains and Dams
i cant just hold on,
these chains on my,
heart, they drag me down.
i can feel it pound,
my last breathe exhales,
my heart begins to fail.
another chain pulling me,
my weight destroying me,
falling to my knees,
i now claw my way,
through these lies.
medical supplies disipating,
i cant hold out any longer,
the many dams break,
releasing the red rivers,
to flow through endlessly.
alone i cant stop it,
the current is strong,
as it pulls me along,
i can feel myself drag.
The stature of a man is not decided by the size of his fists, but by how he uses them.
