He was a Vigilante
Didn't like playing,by the rules
One thing was for certain
He didn't suffer no fools
If you had cheated justice
Or was Wanted by the law
It was best you keep a-running
There wasn't a faster draw
Cause when he caught you
He was smiling thru his hood
No one tried to stop him
No one really could
He wore a brown Stenson
With a matching Duster coat
When the Hangman came a-calling
You'd soon be swinging by your throat
He had a cut-off shotgun
A Derringer up his sleeve
He'd look for you in September
You'd be dead by Christmas Eve
Cause when he caught you
He was smiling thru his hood
No one tried to stop him
No one really could
Deadly with his six gun
Faster than a rattlesnake
If you went up against him
It was your last mistake
It was said he was a judge
Who'd finally gone insane
When he met his maker
No one even knew his name

Good one, Doug. I am old enough to remember when westerns were king, and this takes me back to those days.

Yeh, I like it, Doug. Another time, another era. Or . . . unfortunately, maybe not! Classic western!
