Just as two twin flames eternally burn
You and I shine bright, while the cosmos turn.
But we know not that the other exists
Much less the way our energies persist.
Blinded not by sight, but by consciousness,
By that which we perceive as cognizance,
By all of which we refuse to let go,
Delaying opportunity to grow.
Inevitably, we shall reunite;
The joining of our flames, a wondrous sight.
Until that moment, I will search inside
Myself, my soul, to see what truth I hide.
For a question remains, a mystery itself:
How can I find you, when I haven't found myself?
This was nicely written, bringing about the question of duality and the cord that binds the darkness. I enjoyed it, felt it was connected with "A brief exchange" if i'm right? Welcome back to the forums!
Hi inskeepruler, you are amazing, I wouldn´t believe that you could make a really transcendental poem (I mean the theme), from a trivial experience. Good work.
I liked the complete idea, but most the ending line "How can I find you, when I haven't found myself?"
Thank you.
