    Anthurium Paradise Mile

The inn called Anthurium Paradise Mile
Up in Lafayette Pointe, Mauritius Isle
Is guaranteed to make you smile
If only for a little white.

The owner with hair of like cotton candy
A girl named Jareth makes you feel quite dandy
    Her latin lover, very handy
Goes by the name of Shelly Mandy

She leads you to a hut of white
Where you will sleep away your nights
    Awakening at morning light
    Refreshed and feeling quite alright

She’s tried to keep it clean and free
Of any and all modern technology
    No internet and no TV
Just sun and sky and birds and sea

It’s a place to get away
From the thrum and drum of every day
To rest and put your cares at bay
To swim, and surf and enjoy your stay

    At eventide when she’s alone
Her tears touch the ocean one by one
As she remembers the Round Pond
In the Garden of old Kensington.

Back in the winter of her fifth year
She lost both whom she held so dear
So now for them she sheds her tears
As she has done for fifteen years

Sweet Mandy takes her lover’s hand
And walks with her in the pearly white sand
They talk and walk, and make their plans
On fair and warm Mauritius Island

Perhaps there's a real inn you had in mind when you wrote this?

No real inn as such, but I've wanted to visit Mauritius for some time now. It sounds (and looks) like a beautiful place.

I'm fascinated by island countries generally, esp. the ones in the Pacific. I'd always felt their castaway nature would preserve beauty(i'm also aware it's easier to see oddities in such places, reflected most in the flora & fauna).
