    I'm back!
    Posting the essentials in this edit:
    The track is probably Melodic Metalcore/Emo/Screamo (it could also be generally categorised as Rock) and should have come out before 2008 (2007 or earlier).
    NOTE: I've not used most of the modern identify applications for smartphones. I've now posted links to watzatsong.

    YT - it starts 1:42 into the "I'm through with white girls (2007)" trailer.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyMyjLUiu7o
    YT - Degrassi trailer with it in;
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDq8jop-8TE

    Sound from "I'm through whit white girls" .
    http://www.watzatsong.com/en/name-that-tune/462752.html
    Sound from the Degrassi.
    http://www.watzatsong.com/en/name-that-tune/463412.html

    The lyrics goes something as following;
    go ahead tell me go ahead I'm busted go ahead I'm leaving, ends with what i think is I'm busted ... completely.
    Go ahead is repeated ontop of the other lyrics.

    Turnsoul (the ones making the movie for the "I'm through with white girls" trailer) would not redirect me.
    I've searched ALOT on "go ahead" and quite a bit on "i'm busted".
    I've gone through myspace (they've ended their site with music) and searched through google, youtube, amazon mainly.

    Try the following songs:

    "Don't Say You Love Me" by The Corrs (or Sandy E Junior)

    "Electrifiying" by Candee Jay

    "Talking In Your Sleep" by The Romantics (or Mud)
    Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

    Thanks for the reply.
    It's neither of those three, didnt find the Mud version of talking in your sleep but the lyrics rules it out.

    No that is not the right track, it starts 1 minute and 42 seconds into the trailer.

    Here's another website that might lead you in the right direction (lots of songs to chase down).

    I went through the ones that were created after 1990 and the ones missing creation year and checked some covers on some of the others. None of those as far as i can tell =/
    Thanks for supply of candidates. I've also taken some hours of just going through youtube vid's on "don't tell me", [EDIT] note that i've done that a few times earlier and not between the two last messages - just to clarify to anyone who might get the wrong idea.

    It sounds to me like: "Don't tell me, I'm leaving, I'm busted, I'm bleeding"

    Might be "Stay (Don't Tell Me You'll Leave Me)" by the band 'Rename' (Marcus something and Toby Bartzsch I think).

    Never mind I don't think this is it but I haven't heard the entire song

    Thanks for the try orangecakez but its not "Rename - Stay (Don't Tell Me You'll Leave Me)".

    I'm trying to get in touch with the music producer of the film since I just happen to have a buddy that knows the director of that particular movie. Will report back tomorrow if I get any word soon

    I hope the admins won't get on my back for thread necromancy as this was actually never solved (even though it was marked as such).

    I'm back! Well not that I ever had a solid prescense here but it was a nice stay, people tried to help and were generally nice! So meanwhile i see if anyone has any thoughts about where to look on the net I might see if i can help anyone else.

    Since I last was in here I've;
    • Searched a few hundred songs related to "go ahead"
    • lyricsfind.com
    • Audiotag.info
    • watzatsong.com
    • Stereokiller - (not recommended until they sort their administration issues out).
    and one of those tapping identification
    • Oh tried ACRcloud which was beyond my technological skillset.
    • Gone through quite the load of songs.

    I've not successfully used;
    • Shazaam
    • Soundhound
    • Musixmatch

    I've also realised the end of the clip entails "I'm busted, completely".
    If anyone has any tips where to turn to specifically that would also be appriciated (as in Emo/Rock etc forums)?

    Edit: I've changed the top of the first post to make it easier to read and access.
