Need help with a song

Alright. This might be a little tricky, but i need some help in finding a song. It was played on an all classic rock station and i have heard it many times before, its just bugging me adn i cant remember what it is. Its from the 70's or maybe early 80's (i believe late 70's) and the only thing i remember is that there is a very long outro. Probably a good 3 minutes of just an acoustic sounding guitar jamming, and there is occasional other instruments and what sounds like a light orchestra. there is a very catchy and distinct rhythm. When i think of it styx and the who come to mind but i know its not them. Any help would be awesome thanks.

No its not that haha. Trust me Boston is my favorite band. Its like that only no keyboard.
