¡Hola!
I'm new to this section.
Can anybody check my homework? It is supposed to be in the past tense and I'm not sure if I did it right.

Ok, here it is.
"Este fin de semana mi familia y yo celebramos la Pascua de Resurrección. Ese día es muy importa para me. Este sábado horneé el pan de Pascua, pinté los huevos y cociné jamón y patatas. Mi esposo limpió el apartamento. Trabajamos todo el sábado. Este domingo fuimos a la iglesia. Después de iglesia cenamos una comida grande y bebimos vino tinto. Muchas personas se vinieron a nuestra casa. Nos divertimos mucho. Me gusta tener una cena grande con mi familia."
It is a little diary entry, it was due long time ago, but I'm late, as usual
I wrote it; please let me know if I made any mistakes.
¡¡¡Muchas gracias!!!
Gracias, Zahra! I thought I did worse than that!

Hola Todos. Yo tengo una pregunta.
When someone says
HOy una gatita me llavare
Are they useing slang when reffering to Gatita As in a women? or are they actually reffering to a cat
Dime cosas dulces para que cuando te las tengas que tragar, no te sepan tan amargas!!!
se siente, se siente, bebe presidente!!! jajja
in Argentina, "gata" (most likely used in its masc form "gato") is used in a diminishing way to define a woman that is basically a sl*t, not a prostitute because she does not actually get paid in exchange for her sexual favors. but she gets a lot of other stuff in return, like expensive clothing, jewelry, fancy dinners at hot spots, etc, etc, etc
if you play your cards right... everything's gonna be alright
ajajaja, aca tambien le diriamos de la misma manera... una p*ta interesada... o una trola...
pero bueno, para definirla de manera menos grosera...
if you play your cards right... everything's gonna be alright
here in mexico they say gatas, to the maids, but as derogatory...
the first love is gone ... am waiting for the last one!!
whats salgo mean??
and how do you say "What dose ____ mean" in spanish
how do you know when to make an "a" on a word for feminine. or a "O" for a masculine word?
cames from salir = out and it means go out
example
yo salgo con una linda chica
I go out with a pretty girl
************************************************** ************
and when you want to ask what does mean something in Spanish.. you can say
que significa " " ?
or
que quiere decir " "?
the first love is gone ... am waiting for the last one!!
