Smile Cem Adrian - Odam Kireç Tutmuyor from Turkish to English

    Odam kireç tutmuyor
    Kumunu katmayinca
    Sevdan bastan gitmiyor
    Sarilip yatmayinca

    (Repertuvar)
    Odam kireç tutmuyor
    Biraz kum katmayinca
    Gönül rahat etmiyor
    Yare laf atmayinca
    (Yarini görmeyince)

    Odam kireçtir benim
    Yüzüm güleçtir benim
    Soyunda gir koynuma
    Tenim ilaçtir benim

    (Repertuvar)
    Odam kireçtir benim
    Yüzüm güleçtir benim
    Hangi tasa sarilsam
    Emegim bostur benim

    Baba ben dervis miyem
    Hirkami giymis miyem
    Ben sevdim eller aldi
    Niye ben ölmüs müyem

    Odani kireç eyle
    Yüzünü güleç eyle
    Soyun da gir koynuma
    Terimi ilaç eyle

    (Repertuvardaki baglanti)
Haydi yarim evde misin evde misin
    Silinmeyen camlara perde misin

I appreciate also his style.. it is, according to me, both traditional and modern.
Sometimes he makes me think to Angel's voices.....
Moreover I like very much the light in his eyes while he sings..

Thank you, I already saw it!
It's one of my favourite song of Cem..I am trying also to sing it...It's difficult for song pronuntiation but it sounds good!
I ' m trying to sing also Ayrylik and Duz dara with this interpretations:

I think that Turkish people have a natural way to module theyr voices that is amazing! Is the art of "Melisma" , is the singing of a single syllable of text while moving between several different notes in succession.
The Melisma is common among the music of mediterranen countries, infact also Sicilia music has...but the way of turkish or arabic people is a little more difficult to imitate.
