Rap Battle Tournament

I don't see why we can't try something like this.

How will this work?
Each mc will be against another. It will be simple bracket style elimination. Use your hardest bars, punchlines, or whatever and make it as nasty as you could. Each person get's 2 verses and they rap back and forth and later judged by a public poll. If you have questions just ask.

Rules:


-2 verses
-8-16 lines
-first to to five votes wins/unless its 3-0 then that's a win as well
-Voter must explain vote in a coherent fashion to remove biased voting
-Once checked into your designated battle thread, you have 24 hours to post your rhyme; once the first set is done, both battlers have another 24 hours for their next lines.
-Whoever checks in first has to go first, but then goes second in the battle's second verses.

2 verses each

We've already done something like this. Didn't work out so much.

It wouldn't hurt to try again.

Yeah who is right, but I'm not opposed to doing it again. There just needs to be these guidlines; why not learn from our mistakes last time with the tournament.

Sounds good. Keeping it small would be best so either 4 or 8 participants.

Hmm, I think we should just do it based on who many people want to participate; I mean you can't really have a rap tournament and expect people to be fine with being left out. If you want to do your own one, that's cool, but if you want one with alot of competition, the whole forum should be given a chance.

Speaking about tourneys, what happened to Zarex and Karma Tre?

Well Zarex is busy with school and sh1t last time i knew, but I havent talked to him in a minute.
Idk about karma either. Probably the same as Zarex honestly
