Songs with music by singers . . .

This is a thread for songs that singers write when they decide they are composers. I am curious to know what people think of these, compared to songs with music by good professional composers (the "best of the best" composers on Duffy's list.)

It's certainly a pleasant little number ... but musically, is it anything more than that?

Also, in my opinion, this is a "Euro-accessible" song - does anyone know if got any international play in the 1970's?
