is in straight 4/4 time.

But to me, it doesn't really sound like a "classic" hasapiko, nor a "classic" tsiftetelli either.

Is it one of these?

If not, what should you dance to this song ?

If it's OK to dance to it, what dance ?

Duffy has informed me (via regular email) that according to his knowledgeable source, the song Να είχα το κουράγιο is a straight hasaposerviko.

But according to the same source, Τα λιμάνια is not any clear Greek dance rhythm - it could be interpreted as some kind of syrtis, but also as something Oriental. So it's almost like it's a hybrid kind of rhythm between Greek and Oriental (Oriental like tsiftetelli.)

But on the other hand, this article:

says on page 71 that Τα λιμάνια IS a 4/4, not a 7/8 kalamatiano.

For me is "Ta Limania" a 4/4 rhythm.
Maybe there exists a 7/8 Version, but the Music Clips I could open in YT were always in a 4/4 rhythm.

On the other hand Ta Limania would not be a song I would dance to. I cannot describe why, just my feeling.
