I'm not sure what subforum to put it in, but it certainly gives the impression of Serbian more than that of Macedonian (though I don't know the latter, but I know it's something close to Bulgarian). I thought it was some sort of a southern Serbian dialect. Is it true?
Tamo dole gde me vodi zvezda Danica
Tamo dole preko mnogo mnogo granica
Iznad mene svetli mesec
Svetli osvetli
Koridora deset za jug
Mešaju se začini miris orienta
Mešaju se ritmovi i vruća muzika
Iznad mene svetli mesec
Svetli osvetli
Koridora deset za jug
Kade si, što si, so kogo koj si
Da li si, zošto si, ti li si, ne li si
Dal' rediš gerdan gerdan denovi
Po biser za nok vo race negovi
Redi gerdan naredi gerdan
Pa go redi na grlo na megdan
Naredi gerdan gerdan denoj
Po biser za nok vo race negoj
That's what I'd like to know first:
Kade = kada?
So kogo = sa koga?
Zošto = zašto?
Rediš = radiš??
Gerdan = đerdan? (I almost don't doubt it, since it's spelled "Ѓердан" in Macedonian)
Denovi = danima???
Nok = noć? (It seems to my ear that it's pronounced as "ноќ" that would stand for Serbian "noć")
Vo = u?
Race = ?
Negovi = njegove?
Naredi = uredi??
Go = ga?
Denoj, negoj = ?
These are my mostly intuitive guesses that are supposed to get me closer to understanding the lyrics, but it's possible they're just trailing a red herring across my path.
