SOLVED:Male singer, at news desk talking/singing into camera

I was at kohls today (Black Friday 2016) I happened to hear a song that I NEED to know what it was lol. All I can remember was, it was either black and white or just a dark screen. The singer was sitting at what looked like a news desk while singing into a camera. Towards the end of the song the screen panned out and he looked like he had a tv frame around him. I think it was kind of a folksy song and the lyrics I think were kind of drab or grim. PLEASE HELP!!!!
