There's no other way to describe it -- I'm so sorry but Jennalyn's translation SUCKS.... it's so LITERAL. It totally violated the poetry of the song. Please don't use the translation.

See, a lot of times, Filipino words can't be directly translated to English. Moreso poetry as complex as the original lyrics to ikaw. If you do it line by line, you end up with a hodge-podge of literal mess.

Word of prudence: PLEASE DON'T ATTEMPT TO TRANSLATE IF YOU CAN'T.

Hi, here is my translation for IKAW by Regine Velazquez. It might not be a perfect translation, but if there is someone else can edit it good, that would be nice.

Everyone knows that English is only second language in Philippines so if we; some Filipino can't speak or write the right grammar don't laugh on us or say why trying to talk or write english if we can't. But instead try to correct us the proper way to use english words. I would appreciate is someone will try to correct my translation on this song. As I said am learning english

In this translation, I got some idea from others way of translation too.... People should share each ideas not do competition to make a better world. World is great but people are changing a lot
