(i) Dios no dejó de existir literally this should be God never stopped existing but this doesn't sounds good for me

(ii) Pero a nada como tu recuerdo I have never seen such contruction, I can't say if the correction I did is really necessary...

Pero a nada como tu recuerdo-Maybe it's the wrong lyrics.
Also I know that dejo 'dejar' means stop/leave.
What does dejo mean? It means I stopped or God stopped?

Thanks craziedood for improving the text, I never thought that (i) could be possible in English and (ii) is the right verb for that task, and (iii) was somewhat trick for me, because I only knew the regency recuerdar+de, never recuerdar+a/ Muchias gracias
