This is really deep..perhaps because I feel like I can almost relate. But it's really great!

I feel a lot of pain in this song. It's bitter, honest and heartfelt. If writing songs is about conveying emotions, this song really stands out

Each stanza of this song contributes well to the overall message. There is pain, and regret here along with a touch of remembered anger as the singer, while moving on as best as possible, is still touched ('Memories still haunt me") by what has been lost.

I like it a lot. I like your style. Reminds me of someone I used to write with... a lot. A good friend of mine. Ever been interested in doing that?
