    Hi!

    I had a cassette ages ago that contained an rap/hip-hop song where they rapped about Dr J (legendary basketball player).
    date is probably early 80´s

    That's all the info I have about it. It it rings a bell, please let me know

    i don't even remember how the actual song went, it just bugs me that i can't remember what the track was called

    I know there's not much to go on but i figured it's worth a shot

    "On The Floor" by Company B
    "Bug Powder Dust" by Bomb the Bass
    "You Be Illin" by Run DMC
    Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

    Sorry, none of those...

    The track is definitely older than all the bands that you mentioned, I'd say 1980-1983
