this is like saying , the my car is red , lol , it sounds funny

I have a question (please don't laugh ) : if I learn the Brazilian Portuguese I can understand Portuguese spoken in Portugal , right ?

yes you can there are words that are different (not many) like in america they say taxi and in englad cab .

brazilian portuguse is more easir to learn because 90% of the websites teaching portuguse are brazilian

I never knew they spoke Pt. in Brazil ...and it was different from the one spoken in Portugal.

yes Brazil seapks pt , not only Brazil bt also angola, cape verde , Guinea-Bissau, Macau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe,East Timor and it could have been more because this werent the only countries pt found

pt is the 6° language most spoken in the world

of course all countries have ther own accent and differences bt the language is pt

I thought the spoke Spanish like most south American Nations

no the poster is written in french , you thought brazil spoke spanish lol , well infact its the only south american country that doesnt speak spanish

Ok I understand now.
To be honest I like Brazilian Portuguese than the one spoken in Portugal. I can understand but I can't write and some words are similar with Romanian

relly ? well i know that romanian is a latin language ...you mean european portuguse has similiar words with romanian language ?

Yes Romanian is a romance language along with Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese . It has it's bases in old Latin but during the years the words have took different forms and we also have a lot of French influences but also many Slavic ones.

Especially Serbian ones, as I have heard .

Btw, why is Spanish more understandable for Portuguese people than other way around (at least I heard that)?

The same case is with Serbian and Bulgarian. Bulgarians can understand Serbian more easily than Serbians can Bulgarian.
